I have finally come to being the woman that I wanted to be all my life but did not think that I could. The woman that is the reason for my conception. I have stepped out of the box. It brings me great joy to share what I create. It brings me great satisfaction to know that someone enjoys what I have created whether in writing or on canvas...Life can be good."
I was always a dreamer and being the youngest member in the family often left me with only my imagination to entertain me. I now bring those ideas to life through my art, my writing and my performances.
During my childhood my family made frequent trips down south. I envied the freedom that my cousins had to run the green fields, climb trees and throw rocks.
For me there was no better feeling than to sit on a front porch during the rain and to watch the day become the night from that same porch. To sit on that porch and listen to the stories told by older family members and to be apart of the laughter that broke the silence off the long summer evening was my vision of a piece ofheaven on earth.
I have taken those memories, the feelings from my heart and put them on canvas and into books to share with the world.
To all that view my paintings and read my words my wish for you is that it makes you feel as good as I did when creating them.
